No hangover from this stuff, Sharon. Normally, I don't drink scotch, at least blended. But The Glenlivet or Glenfiddich, I can't resist. Totally different flavor from the blended stuff, and I've never had a headache with it.

I'm glad Rick did a BBQ for you, Deb. That's the ONLY way to eat on the 4th!

And I'm sure the break was welcome, too.

Happy belated birthday, Doc. Sorry I missed it. As of late that seems to be the norm with me, a dollar short and a day or so late.
All I did for the 4th was cut my lawn and wash the tractor. Guess I should wax the damn thing at somepoint today or not. we'll see I guess.

Ooops... a little late but................

Happy Birthday, Doc. I could almost swear that it's been no more than 12 months from your last one. There's planning for you. I liked the look of that bottle of Glenfiddich. I once visited that distillery in Dufftown many moons ago. Got pissed as a fart on the spirit which my 'guide' (another cop whose relatives all worked there) was able to siphon straight from the still. Somewhere around 96.7 % alcohol. I don't remember much but what I do remember is that it felt like a nuclear explosion inside my head. Hope you had a very pleasant day and disposed of your empties very wisely.

Ya shoulda been here, Wuggy! A glass of the best scotch around, a fine Cuban Partaga....you'd never have wanted to go home!
