Still like summer here

Post by Guest on April 19th 2011, 9:50 pm

The weather here in Perth has been unbelievable lately. Temperatures in the high 20's and low 30's (Celsius). And, this is April.

We're only 8 weeks away from the shortest (daylight) day of the year here. Normally, we should be in the low to mid 20's by now.

Apparently, it has something to do with the warm ocean currents off our coast which are persisting for longer than they normally do.

Here's our temperatures for the next week: http://www.bom.gov.au/wa/forecasts/perth.shtml

"Chance of a shower" usually ends up meaning "none", going on experience over the past few weeks. Very Happy

It has been crappy here, hail, frost in the mornings, lots of rain, occasional wet snow, and that sometimes all happens within a 2 hour period!!!
