Got My Laptop Back From Dell

Repaired and working fine! Dell XPS M1530

They replaced the heatsink(it was overheating majorly) and the left speaker is operational again. Cool

Good deal! I've had to send a laptop back to them on two different occasions, and both times, they were fast, and got it right! Being free was a plus, too! Smile

That's great, Shawna.

I always have my laptops on a laptop stand which raises the back by a couple of inches and allows better airflow underneath where the intake fan usually is.

Also makes the keyboard easier to use.

This one had a serious overheating problem. I would close the cover, go back to it a half hour later and the metal base would be so hot I could barely touch it! I had a laptop cooler under it in the meantime. They returned it so fast I wondered if they did anything at all!! But so far, so good! Very Happy
