I used to know how to do this but have forgotten!

If I send a link by email or post a link here to a pic or video on Photobucket, how do I set up my account so that only the pic or video is visible to recipients (like yours) and any further clicking on my album needs a password?

I have my whole album set to private, so maybe I need to change a setting somewhere to set this up?

EDIT: I think I have figured it out.
You have to make the main album public and all sub-albums private......correct?

I think so, not sure actually! I never played with the settings. I am not sure if they can see my other photos and vids or not. I guess I should check that!!!

This is a 'private' album with the password guest_1.( note the underscore)
This will allow you to look at the whole sub-album but none of my other sub-albums, except for 'Arran' which is a 'public' sub-album.

This thumbnail lets you look at one pic only in another 'private' album.

Yep!!!

I just checked my album settings and the whole thing is set to private, whew!!! I don't have any split up into different sub-albums, I just have one big one!

I have reset my album back to private as yours is.
I was only following the directions on the Photobucket 'Help' page.
Seems like a lot of fuss about nothing.

BTW........I see I am now a member of the 'Gents' group.............how did you know I am a gent?
