How to Perform a Full Manual Defragmentation of Your Hard Disk Under Windows Vista

That's the way I do it. I don't like Vista's new 'all or nothing' approach and I don't want all my partitions defragged at the same time.
And, in the case of the partition that has Ghost images stored (G on my Vista laptop), I don't want that defragged at all. I read somewhere a while back that defragging drives or partitions with Ghost or similar images on them can cause corruption of the images.
I've also turned off Vista's scheduled defragmantion, of course.
