Personally, I've never liked hose water. Has a sort of 'plasticky' taste to it.

You probably wouldn't like drinking out of a bucket with flies in it either.

There is a difference in hoses. Although that particular hose is not one of them, if you camp etc., there are hoses that will be marked safe for drinking water.

Especially when you use a RV you hook up water through a hose and it does leave an after taste if it is not the approved hose. Probably leaves a chemical deposit in your body as well, to make you glow in the dark in your later years.
