NEW YORK - Plenty of couples have made love connections on dating sites like Match and eHarmony. But no matches seem as picture-perfect as one made on the photo site Flickr.
Rosie Hardy, 18, and Aaron Nace, 24, met in April 2008 while both contributing to a Flickr photo group called " 365 Days ." The group's objective is for each person to take portraits of themselves every day for a year. Rosie told MSNBC's blog Technotica that a friend showed her Aaron's photos after spotting similarities between their styles. Before Rosie even had a chance to e-mail Aaron, he sent her a note via Flickr.
“It was pretty weird,” Aaron told MSNBC . “We both get a lot of people who contact us (via Flickr) so for that to happen is really unlikely.”
They began writing more and their attraction grew deeper. The logical next step seemed to be that the two would meet. But Rosie lives in Buxton, England, and Aaron lives in Chapel Hill, N.C. Despite the distance, their love blossomed as they began combining their self-portraits together with the help of Photoshop and other image-altering software. It led to their creation of their series " Compilation Sundays ," which the couple describes as "love separated by an ocean."

Their story has enchanted online fans around the world. On a chat window on the couple's blog, Impatient writes, "Hurry up and get married already. I want to see the wedding photos." Another user simply named Guest says, "Can't wait to see some pics of you two together! I haven't been following your story that long, but I've fallen in love with your romance and work!"
The two recently launched a joint Web site where they offer their image production, art direction, post-production services and more. The two have met several times -- over Christmas and Valentine's Day. But as for permanent plans, Rosie is finishing college and plans to move to North Carolina in July.
