Prayers for my parents please

My mom is in the hospital with water on the lung. They have to drain it today. She has been in the hospital since Wed morning but no one told me until yesterday afternoon I got a call from a neighbor of my parents because my sister had run off and left my dad alone by himself. He cant take care of himself, he cant even walk. Somehow he got himself out of bed and to the wheel chair and called the police so that they could get a hold of the neighbor so the neighbor could reach me. He siad that is all he could think to do. he has my number but he was scared. he did good.
I had to stay with him last night. I sent him off to dialysis today.
Just keep them in your prayers please.

Waiting on test results to see if mom has lung cancer. OMG
I have to shower and go back to dads now. Just got out of work. My brother sat with him today while I worked.

I am just now seeing this and believe me I am pushing out prayers in STRONG FAITH. I just tried calling you Deb on the last # that I had for you, I hope it is the same one. CALL ME FOR ANYTHING you hear.

Know that your whole family are on three prayer chains heres, my church, my moms up in the mountains, & ernies brothers church which he pastors.

The word says where 2 or more come together in agreement that it will be done, & you have that & more.

Your parents have had quite a battle & are great soldiers for overcoming all that has been thrown at them. Like Job, they are survivors only they have family that stands & fights & has them to keep the faith. I wish that I could physically be there to help you to give you a chance to rest & not to have to always be the rock that moves mountains but am so blown away at the strength God has put in you to carry all this weight.

Father in Heaven, please pick up this entire family & carry them thru this once more as you have so many times before. I pray that they have more along their path to accomplish for the Glory of your Kingdom & to your name & that we all are able to bear witness to it thru this miracle that you have put into place. Give Strength to all & surround them with your angels of peace & friends that will help bear some of this burden, may there be food & finances in abudance & that they lack in NO AREA.

Can we expect physical healing even in our later years of life, most certainly Duet 33:25 "As thy days, so shall thy strength be".

We call upon the name of God Jehova Jireh (Gen 22:14)"The Lord will Provide" crying for your provision, we also call upon the name of God Jehova Rapha (Exo 15:26)"I am the Lord that Healeth Thee" pleading that your healing powers engulf this family, that the blood of our Savior Jesus is indeed spread over the threshold of this family & that they are indeed protected from all attacks.

Father, we all stand in one accord as we offer up this prayer, shower them with all of your Blessings, Grace & Mercy now & in the days to come. May YOU be GLORIFIED thru all that transpires herein.

This is a letter I just had to send to my brothers. I had to do it this way so dad doesnt hear me talk to them.

The doctor called me. He said mom has a mass between her heart and lung , the ct scan shows it. They have to do a procedure where they insert a tube down her throat into her lung to do a biopsy. They will do this next week.

I asked him to be honest with me so we know where we stand. I asked does he suspect cancer. He said yes that at this point all signs make him feel it is cancer because she has other symptoms that coincide with this type of cancer ( low sodium, pain in chest for over 2 months, etc.)

He said the pathologist will know more once the test are complete and see if it is malignant which he thinks it is,

I ask him what would be the next step if the test confirm his assomption.
He said the pathologist will have to decide then because the mass is in a difficult place to get at.

I didnt tell dad this because he will get so sick that I will also have him in the hospital or he will die. He is so worried.
I told him the doctor has to do more test to see why her sodium is low and why she has water around her lung.

Guys, we need prayers here and we may have to help make some difficult decisions real soon.

I am going to suggest to mom that she sign a power of attorney for her medical issues and treatment so that I can be assured that everything possible that can be done for her is done for her. I hope you all agree.

Sorry to hear this, Deb. I've sent up another one for you all. I know you're strong, but I also know it isn't easy to have to be the strong one all the time. You have friends here, and we're praying for you all. Hang in there, and don't be bashful about leaning on people.

You all wont believe this. I now have had to have my dad admitted to the hospital. I could not keep his blood sugar down(he is a diabetic). It was 681 when i got him to the hospital via an ambulance.

It is official. Mom has lung cancer.
