Getting to work today

Well, what a chore it was driving to work today. Normally takes me about half an hour to drive the 28km to Craigie Bowl but today it took me the grand total of one hour and ten minutes. I wasn't very happy, I can tell you.

All we need is a bit of rain and the traffic in Perth just grinds to a halt. Some people have described Perth drivers as some of the worst in the world. And I agree. I think a lot of them got their drivers licenses out of a breakfast cereal packet.

I need a job closer to home...

Oh Poor Carl. It sucks doesn't it. It rained so much here yesterday also.
I take public transportation , which by far is often much better than driving and it is so convenient here.
You need to try to drive here Carl, omg it is crazy even when it isn't wet out.

Ahhh... thanks, Larry. Half of the so called drivers here would probably just crash into the darned thing and knock it over.

Maximum speed on the freeways is 100km/hour (62mph). Open roads in the country is 110km/hr (68mph).

And I'd wager it's no great surprise to see someone doing 120 in town, and 150 in the country.
